Kristen joined the SRLabs team for the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cybersecurity technology that cannot be found at other companies, like reverse engineering of Android devices.
The projects he is currently working on include Android security, strengthening the cloud security of a major telco company, SOC monitoring, and red teaming. Through these challenges, Kristen has learned to dig deeper and never give up, always keeping this goal in mind: “We are not here to do something easy; we are here to do something valuable.”
Kristen took part in HackerUrlaub, our annual company retreat, where he even had a go at steering the boat during our cruise.
Regina studied Applied Mathematics and Cryptography. In 2019, she joined SRLabs, working on various projects that involved device testing, phishing campaigns, and the Android patch ecosystem. Later, she started to support blockchain audits.
Soon she became an Expert Security Consultant and leading assignments, progressing towards her current role as Lead Security Consultant, where her focus is on Android and Blockchain security.
Regina enjoys working in an international setting with talented colleagues, getting in touch with different technologies, and acquiring new skills like learning Rust from scratch, deep diving into code review, and reverse engineering. She is looking forward to diving into maturity reviews and consulting for big-scale projects.
Dominik has worked in IT security for a decade, in a number of different roles. He joined the SRLabs team to broaden his horizons and pursue projects in new areas. He is currently involved in building and securing the 5G network for a large telco, as well as security maturity assessments and device hacking.
For Dominik, the best thing about SRLabs are his knowledgeable colleagues and the opportunity to learn something new every day.
While studying IT-Systems Engineering, Balthasar joined SRLabs for Hack the Beach retreat with his research on cloud-connected IP cameras. As a working student, he further developed the project into a conference presentation.
Balthasar joined SRLabs full-time as Security Consultant, where he became a central technical contact for our large-scale consulting and transformation projects. He then established the SRLabs red team, designed to expand their knowledge on how clients get hacked, and to help clients discover their weak spots and effectively invest their security budget.
His role as Team Leader involves project management, consulting, and solving technical heading nuts . Balthasar’s goals are to maintain a balance between technical and management work, while ensuring the red team remains an exciting place to work.
Rachna joined SRLabs device testing team to deepen her skills in security. She studied Computer Science and always wanted to become an Ethical Hacker and work in cybersecurity. The most interesting part about device testing for Rachna, is that she gets to test a variety of devices starting from a small device with a single functionality to a huge network device running a full-blown operating system.
Sina studied IT engineering in Iran. He began his journey with SRLabs in 2018, when he joined us as an Ethical Hacker. He researched RCS security and was involved in consulting work, specializing in telco security testing.
He has had his own team since January 2022, which focuses on application and cloud security assurance, covering pentests as well as secure architecture design. While working on these projects, he has learned a lot about cloud security, telco pentesting, and consulting work.
His team’s current goal is to improve the security of their client’s 5G cloud infrastructure.
